About TastyByMa

Last updated: September 2, 2026

TastyByMa exists because most fitness calculators fail in one of two ways: they hide the formula and ask you to trust a black box, or they bury a one-line answer under pop-ups and sign-up walls.

We build the opposite. Every calculator on this site names the published equation it uses — Mifflin–St Jeor, Katch–McArdle, the U.S. Navy tape method, the Karvonen heart-rate method, MET values from the Compendium of Physical Activities — states its honest margin of error, and explains what to do with the result. No accounts, no email walls, no locked results.

What we cover

Daily calories and TDEE, macronutrient targets, BMI, body fat, protein needs, calories burned by activity, ideal weight ranges, hydration, one-rep-max estimation and heart-rate training zones — plus written guides on the ideas behind the numbers, so the tools make you independent rather than dependent.

Our standard

If we cannot point to the evidence for a number, we do not publish it. Where a method has known limits — BMI with muscular builds, tape-measure body fat, formula-estimated max heart rate — we say so on the page instead of pretending precision we do not have.
