Zesty Herb Butter Crusted Fish Filets

Ingredients
  

  • 4.0 piece white fish filets
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 2.0 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • 1.0 tablespoon fresh dill
  • 1.0 tablespoon fresh chives
  • 1.0 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2.0 clove garlic
  • 1.0 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1.0 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.0 piece lemon wedges

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Herb Butter: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, parsley, dill, chives, lemon zest, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  • Season the Fish: Rinse the fish filets under cool water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Place on Baking Sheet: Arrange the fish filets on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
  • Spread the Herb Butter: Generously spread the herb butter mixture over the top of each fish filet.
  • Drizzle with Olive Oil: Lightly drizzle olive oil over the fish filets to help with browning.
  • Bake the Fish: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve: Remove the fish from the oven. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
