Ingredients

2 cups rolled oats

2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

2 medium-sized apples, peeled, cored, and diced (preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)

1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey, if preferred)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup raisins or chopped walnuts (optional for added texture)

Fresh apple slices and cinnamon stick for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Prepare the Oat Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well until the oats are evenly coated.

Add the Apples: Gently fold in the diced apples and, if using, the raisins or chopped walnuts into the oat mixture. Ensure that the apples are evenly distributed throughout.

Pour into Baking Dish: Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.

Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean.

Cool and Serve: Remove the oat bake from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes. Serve warm, garnished with fresh apple slices and a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.

Enjoy: This Sweet Apple Cinnamon Oat Bake can be enjoyed as a breakfast dish, snack, or dessert. It’s perfect on its own or with a dollop of yogurt or a drizzle of additional maple syrup.
