Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup deli ham, diced

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Fresh chives or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the diced ham, shredded cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.

Roll Out Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a lightly floured surface. Separate the dough into triangles along the perforated lines.

Fill Dough: Place a generous tablespoon of the ham and cheese filling at the wider end of each triangle. Be careful not to overfill to ensure easy rolling.

Roll Up: Starting from the wide end, carefully roll the triangle towards the pointed end, pinching the seams to seal the filling inside.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the rolled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each roll. Brush the tops with the beaten egg to create a golden crust when baked.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and flaky.

Garnish and Serve: Once out of the oven, let the rolls cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped chives or parsley for a pop of color and added flavor. Serve warm and enjoy!
