1 pound fresh salmon fillet, skinless

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon honey

2 cloves garlic, minced

Zest and juice of 1 lemon

Salt and pepper to taste

8 large romaine or butter lettuce leaves

1 avocado, sliced

½ red bell pepper, thinly sliced

¼ cup scallions, finely chopped

Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish

Prepare the Salmon: Preheat your grill or a stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat. Pat the salmon dry with paper towels and season it with salt and pepper on both sides.

    Make the Lemon Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice until well combined. Reserve a couple of tablespoons for drizzling later.
