1/3 cup maple syrup (or honey)

1/4 cup coconut sugar (or brown sugar)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup rolled oats (gluten-free if needed)

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (or dairy-free chocolate chips)

1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or hazelnuts for added crunch)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch square baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the canned pumpkin, almond butter, maple syrup, coconut sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well blended.

      Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

        Combine Everything: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
