4 mini bagels (whole wheat or plain)

2 ripe avocados

1 lime (juiced)

Salt and pepper, to taste

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved

¼ cup feta cheese, crumbled (optional)

Fresh cilantro or parsley, for garnish

Instructions
 

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Slice the mini bagels in half and place them on a baking sheet, cut side up.

      Toast the bagel halves in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes or until they are lightly golden and crispy.

        Prepare the avocado mixture: In a bowl, scoop out the flesh of the ripe avocados. Add the lime juice, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mash the ingredients together with a fork until you reach your desired level of creaminess.

          Spread a generous layer of the avocado mixture onto each toasted bagel half.

            Top each bagel bite with a few halved cherry tomatoes and sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top, if desired.

              Return the bagels to the oven for an additional 3-5 minutes to warm the toppings slightly.

                Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley, and serve warm.
