Ingredients

12 ice cream sandwiches (vanilla or your favorite flavor)

2 cups whipped cream (or Cool Whip)

1 cup chocolate sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup crushed Oreos or graham cracker crumbs

1 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

1/2 cup crushed nuts (almonds or pecans, optional)

Colorful sprinkles (for decoration)

Fresh berries (strawberries or raspberries, for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Base: Start by placing 6 ice cream sandwiches side by side in a single layer on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Make sure they are snug against each other.

Add Whipped Cream Layer: Spread half of the whipped cream evenly over the layer of ice cream sandwiches. Use a spatula to smooth it out as best as you can.

Drizzle Chocolate Sauce: Pour half of the chocolate sauce over the whipped cream layer. Try to distribute it evenly throughout the layer.

Add a Crunch: Sprinkle half of the crushed Oreos (or graham cracker crumbs) over the chocolate sauce layer, followed by a handful of mini chocolate chips and crushed nuts if using. This adds a delightful texture.

Repeat Layers: Place another layer of 6 ice cream sandwiches on top of the first layer, again pressing them snugly together. Repeat the whipping cream, chocolate sauce, and topping layers (remaining whipped cream, remaining chocolate sauce, crushed Oreos, chocolate chips, and nuts).

Final Touch: Once all layers are assembled, spread any remaining whipped cream on the top to create a smooth finish. Decorate the top with colorful sprinkles and garnish with fresh berries.

Freeze: Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until set. For best results, overnight is ideal.

Serve: Once frozen solid, remove from the freezer. Allow it to sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before slicing, making cutting easier. Serve immediately and enjoy the delightful layers of ice cream, whipped cream, and crunchy toppings!
