2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped

1 cup croutons (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Freshly cracked black pepper for garnish

Optional: Anchovy fillets for an authentic touch

Instructions
 

Marinate the Chicken:

    - In a bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

      - Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated.

        - Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the fridge for more flavor).

          Cook the Chicken:

            - Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium heat.

              - Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

                - Once cooked, remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.

                  Prepare the Lettuce:

                    - While the chicken is cooking, wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces.

                      - Place the lettuce in a large salad bowl.

                        Assemble the Salad:

                          - Add the sliced chicken on top of the romaine lettuce.

                            - Sprinkle the croutons and Parmesan cheese over the salad.
