4 slices of whole wheat bread

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1 medium banana, sliced

1/2 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced

1/2 cup pineapple, diced

1/4 cup blueberries

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp butter (for grilling)

Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Mix until smooth and well combined.

    Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on one side of each slice of whole wheat bread.

      On two of the bread slices (cream cheese side up), layer the banana slices, strawberries, pineapple, and blueberries evenly over the spread.

        Top with the remaining two bread slices, cream cheese side down, forming two sandwich melts.

          Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat, and add the butter. Once melted, add the assembled sandwiches.

            Grill each sandwich for about 3-4 minutes on one side, or until golden brown and crispy. Carefully flip and grill the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes.

              Once both sides are golden and the fruit inside is warm, remove the sandwiches from the skillet.

                Slice the grilled fruit pizza sandwiches in half, garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired, and serve warm.
