Ingredients

4 large Italian flatbreads or tortillas

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni (or your choice of Italian meats)

½ cup roasted red peppers, sliced

¼ cup black olives, sliced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Grated Parmesan cheese for topping (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.

Assemble the Roll-Ups: Lay out the Italian flatbreads or tortillas on a clean surface. Spread a generous amount of the garlic butter mixture over each flatbread, leaving a little space around the edges.

Layer the Fillings: Sprinkle an even layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the butter, followed by a layer of sliced pepperoni, roasted red peppers, and black olives. Add a sprinkle of dried oregano for flavor.

Roll Them Up: Starting from one edge, carefully roll each flatbread tightly into a log. Make sure the filling stays inside as you roll. Use toothpicks to secure the ends if needed.

Cook the Roll-Ups: Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Add a little extra garlic butter to the skillet. Once hot, place the roll-ups seam side down and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Finishing Touches: Once cooked, remove from the skillet and let rest for a minute. Slice the roll-ups into bite-sized pieces. If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.

Serve With Dipping Sauce: Serve the roll-ups warm, paired with marinara sauce or a creamy Italian dressing for dipping.
