Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

½ teaspoon baking soda

¼ teaspoon salt

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

½ cup brown sugar, packed

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 ½ cups plain Greek yogurt

¼ cup honey or maple syrup (for sweetness)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for yogurt mixture)

Pinch of sea salt (for topping)

Instructions

Prepare the Cookie Dough:

    - In a medium bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

      - In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).

        - Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

          - Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.

            - Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

              Form the Cookie Dough Rounds:

                - Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the cookie dough and roll them into balls. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

                  - Freeze the cookie dough balls for about 30 minutes or until solid.

                    Make the Yogurt Mixture:

                      - In a separate bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

                        Assemble the Rounds:

                          - Remove the frozen cookie dough balls from the freezer.

                            - Using a spoon or a small ice cream scoop, dollop a spoonful of the yogurt mixture on top of each cookie dough ball, creating a little mound.

                              - Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each round for an extra flavor boost.

                                Freeze and Serve:

                                  - Return the assembled rounds to the freezer for at least 1-2 hours to firm up, or until the yogurt layer is frozen solid.

                                    - Once firm, store them in an airtight container in the freezer.

                                      - Enjoy as a frozen treat right from the freezer.
