4 large ripe heirloom tomatoes (variety of colors if possible)

8 ounces burrata cheese

ΒΌ cup extra virgin olive oil

2 tablespoons balsamic glaze

1 teaspoon sea salt

Freshly cracked black pepper to taste

1 cup fresh basil leaves

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Optional: a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for heat

Prepare the Tomatoes: Rinse the heirloom tomatoes under cool running water. Slice them into a range of sizes - some into wedges and others into thick rounds or irregular chunks for visual appeal. Arrange the tomato pieces on a large serving platter.

    Add the Burrata: Gently tear the burrata into large pieces with your hands, revealing the creamy interior. Place the pieces strategically over the tomatoes to create a beautiful presentation.
