4 ripe peaches, sliced

6 oz thinly sliced prosciutto

4 cups mixed salad greens (baby spinach, arugula, and frisée work well)

½ cup crumbled feta cheese

¼ cup toasted walnuts or pecans

¼ cup balsamic glaze

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Prepare the ingredients: Start by washing the peaches thoroughly, removing the pits, and slicing them into wedges. If you prefer, you can peel the peaches, though it is not necessary.

    Arrange the greens: In a large salad bowl or platter, layer the mixed salad greens as the base.

      Add the peaches and prosciutto: Artwork the peach slices on top of the greens, and then add the prosciutto. You can tear the prosciutto into smaller pieces and distribute them evenly.
