Ingredients

1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten

1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

Cooking spray or olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray it with cooking spray.

Prepare the Breading Stations: In three separate shallow dishes, set up your breading stations. Place the all-purpose flour in the first dish. In the second dish, pour in the beaten eggs. In the third dish, combine the seasoned breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Coat the Green Beans: Take a green bean and dip it first into the flour, ensuring it's fully coated. Shake off any excess flour. Next, dip the floured green bean into the beaten eggs, coating it completely. Finally, roll it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure it sticks well. Repeat this process with all the green beans.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Lay the coated green beans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each fry for even cooking.

Add Olive Oil: Lightly drizzle or spray the breaded green beans with olive oil or cooking spray. This helps them become golden and crispy in the oven.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping the green beans halfway through the cooking time, until they are crispy and golden brown.

Serve: Once baked, remove the green bean fries from the oven and allow them to cool slightly. Serve warm as a delicious appetizer or side dish, accompanied by your favorite dipping sauce (like ranch or marinara).
