1 cup raw almonds

1 cup walnuts, chopped

1 cup pecans, chopped

1 cup sunflower seeds

1 cup pumpkin seeds

1 cup dried cranberries or cherries

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp sea salt

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 cup mini dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Mix the Nuts and Seeds: In a large mixing bowl, combine the almonds, walnuts, pecans, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds.

      Prepare the Honey Mixture: In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the honey, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, sea salt, and cinnamon. Stir until well combined and warmed through.

        Combine the Ingredients: Pour the warm honey mixture over the nut and seed mixture. Stir well until all the nuts and seeds are evenly coated.

          Spread on Baking Sheet: Transfer the mixture to the lined baking sheet, spreading it out in an even layer.

            Bake to Perfection: Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the mix is golden brown and fragrant. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.

              Cool: Remove from the oven and let the trail mix cool completely on the baking sheet. It will become crunchy as it cools.

                Add the Dried Fruit and Chocolate Chips: Once cooled, add the dried cranberries or cherries and chocolate chips, if using. Mix well to combine.

                  Store: Transfer the crunchy trail mix to an airtight container. Store in a cool, dry place for up to two weeks (if it lasts that long!).
