Ingredients

1 package (9 oz) refrigerated cheese ravioli

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs

1 tsp Italian seasoning

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

Vegetable oil (for frying)

Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Prepare the Ravioli: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the cheese ravioli according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 3-4 minutes. Drain and let cool for a few minutes. Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

Set Up Breading Station: In three shallow bowls, set up your breading station. In the first bowl, place the flour. In the second bowl, whisk together the eggs. In the third bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Bread the Ravioli: Take each ravioli and coat it first in the flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing the excess to drip off. Finally, dredge it in the seasoned breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it is fully coated. Place the breaded ravioli on a sheet tray or plate.

Heat the Oil: In a large, deep skillet or pot, heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can test the oil by dropping a breadcrumb into it; if it sizzles and bubbles, it's ready.

Fry the Ravioli: Carefully add the breaded ravioli to the hot oil in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Fry them for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the fried ravioli to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Serve and Enjoy: Once all the ravioli are fried, sprinkle them with freshly grated Parmesan cheese while they are still hot. Serve them warm alongside marinara sauce for dipping.
