Ingredients

20 wonton wrappers

2 tablespoons olive oil (or cooking spray)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon sea salt (adjust to taste)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional for a smoky flavor)

Fresh herbs (e.g., cilantro or parsley) for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Air Fryer: Begin by preheating your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

Prepare the Wonton Wrappers: Take the wonton wrappers and cut them into triangles by slicing them in half diagonally. You can also cut them into squares or fun shapes if desired.

Season the Wontons: In a mixing bowl, add the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, black pepper, and paprika. Toss the wonton triangles in the mixture until evenly coated. If you're using cooking spray, spray both sides of the wontons instead.

Arrange in Air Fryer: Place a single layer of the wonton triangles in the air fryer basket, ensuring that they do not overlap. This will help them cook evenly and become crispy.

Air Fry the Wontons: Cook the wonton chips in the air fryer for about 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them as they can burn quickly.

Cool and Garnish: Once done, remove the chips from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. If desired, garnish with fresh herbs for an extra touch of flavor.

Serve: Enjoy your crispy wonton chips as a snack on their own or serve them with your favorite dip like salsa, guacamole, or a sweet and spicy sauce!
