Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

1/2 cup diced fresh jalapeños (seeds removed for less heat)

1/4 cup diced green onions

1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Tortilla chips or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Mix Creamy Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and both types of shredded cheese (cheddar and Monterey Jack). Stir until well mixed and creamy.

Add Flavor: Add the diced jalapeños, green onions, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the cream cheese mixture. Stir until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Spoon the mixture into a greased baking dish (about 8x8 inches or similar size) and spread it out evenly.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.

Garnish: Once out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh cilantro if desired.

Serve: Serve the dip warm with tortilla chips or sliced baguette. Enjoy the creamy, spicy goodness!
