Ingredients

1 cup Greek yogurt (full-fat for creaminess)

1 medium cucumber, finely grated and excess water squeezed out

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

Instructions

In a medium mixing bowl, add the Greek yogurt as the base of your dip.

Grate the cucumber using a box grater or food processor. Squeeze out as much excess moisture as possible using a clean kitchen towel or paper towel, as too much liquid can make the dip watery.

Add the finely grated cucumber to the yogurt base.

Stir in the minced garlic and fresh dill, combining well to distribute the flavors evenly.

Drizzle in the olive oil and fresh lemon juice, then mix until everything is well incorporated.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste, adjusting as necessary.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serve chilled with pita bread, fresh vegetables, or as a sauce for grilled meats.
