Ingredients

1 large whole grain pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 cup shredded carrots

1 cup chopped cucumbers

1 cup diced bell peppers (a mix of red, yellow, and green)

1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 cup sliced black olives

1/2 cup chopped fresh spinach or arugula

Fresh parsley or basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Crust: If using a homemade pizza crust, preheat your oven according to the recipe. Roll out the dough to fit a 9x13 inch baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. If using a store-bought crust, simply lay it flat on a baking sheet.

Make the Cream Cheese Spread: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Spread the Mixture: Once the crust has cooled down, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the entire surface, ensuring you cover the edges.

Add the Veggies: Arrange the shredded carrots, chopped cucumbers, diced bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, sliced olives, and chopped fresh spinach or arugula on top of the cream cheese spread. Feel free to get creative with the layout for a colorful presentation.

Chill: Cover the pizza with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld and to firm up.

Slice and Serve: After chilling, remove the pizza from the fridge and slice it into squares or rectangles. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil if desired. Serve cold and enjoy!
