Ingredients

10 large fresh jalapeños

1 cup cooked ground beef (or turkey)

1/2 cup taco seasoning (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup salsa (choose your preferred heat level)

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional for extra crunch)

Cooking spray or olive oil for air frying

Instructions

Prepare the Jalapeños:

    - Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

      - Carefully slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes (use gloves to protect your hands).

        Make the Filling:

          - In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, taco seasoning, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, salsa, and green onions. Mix until well combined.

            Stuff the Jalapeños:

              - Using a spoon, generously fill each jalapeño half with the taco mixture. If you like an extra crunch, sprinkle the tops with breadcrumbs.

                Air Fry:

                  - Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush with olive oil.

                    - Arrange the stuffed jalapeños in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not touching.

                      - Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes or until the jalapeños are tender and the filling is golden and bubbly.

                        Serve:

                          - Carefully remove the jalapeños from the air fryer using tongs. Let them cool for a few minutes.

                            - Serve warm, garnished with additional green onions or a dollop of sour cream on the side if desired.
