Ingredients

4 (6 ounces each) salmon fillets, skinless

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Marinate the Salmon: In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let it sit for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Preheat the Pan: Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil (about a tablespoon) to prevent sticking.

Cook the Salmon: Once the skillet is hot, carefully add the marinated salmon fillets. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, depending on thickness, until salmon is cooked through and has a nice golden crust. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).

Serve: Remove the salmon from the skillet and place on serving plates. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over before enjoying.

Enjoy: Serve the salmon with your choice of sides, such as roasted vegetables or quinoa, for a complete meal.
